Brenda Pullen neé Hill

Born: 11th April 1946

Brenda was born in Lee Green, SE12 (London) and is the only daughter of Philip John Hill and Edna May Hill neé Lucas . She was born weighing 10lb. She is also the mother of Jason Nicholas Pullen and Angela Jane Porter neé Pullen.

In her early years she lived in Orpington, East Kent and spent a lot of her childhood on sailing boats and dinghies. Later, she moved with her parents to Westgate in Thennet, Kent.

Brenda went to school at St Philomena Convent High School in 1957 and later attended Redland Teacher Training Collage in 1980.

Brenda married Ralph Malcolm Pullen on 18 September 1971 after meeting through their shared passion for dancing.

Following the birth of Jason and Angela, Brenda and Ralph moved to the west country.

Brenda is a qualified teacher and has taught Biology and Maths. She also ran her own dog clipping business as well as teaching basic hairdressing at college. Interestingly, she worked for the Milk Marketting Board for a time visiting farms to sample the milk - sometimes this involved cheery 4am starts!

In October 2004, Ralph and Brenda sold there home in Bristol and moved to Alicante, Spain.

Over the years she has enjoyed many hobbies and pass times (which she shared with Ralph) including Dancing, Badminton, Horse Riding (dressage, show jumping and cross-country), Bridge, Painting and more recently has learnt to play the Flute and the keyboard.
