Jason Nicholas Pullen
Born: 30th January 1976
Born in Margate Hospital, Kent and the son of Ralph Malcolm Pullen and Brenda Pullen neé Hill. Brother to Angela Jane Porter neé Pullen.
At the age of two, Jason's family moved from Margate to Thornbury in Avon where he attended Crossways Infant School (1980-81) until the age of six. They then moved to Lower Stone, a small Hamlet in Gloucestershire and he changed schools to Stone With Woodford C of E Primary School (1982-87) which he attended until the age of eleven. Jason then attended Berkeley Vale Community School (1987-92) where he earned nine GCSE's (A-C) - during this time his family moved again to a nearby town/village called Berkeley to a house with a field for his parents horses. While living in Berkeley, Jason changes schools again to Katherine Lady Berkeley School (1992-94) to undertake three A-Levels.
To complete his educational career, Jason went to the University of Southampton (1994-97) from which he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He really enjoyed his time here and made some lifelong friends.
Following graduation, Jason went to work for the Bristol office of Arup, an international construction consultancy firm where he worked for 6 years as an electrical building services design engineer. During this time he became chartered with the IEE.
In April 2003, Jason went to Mexico to attend and photograph Russ's wedding to Keeley. It was on this holiday that he met Karen Marie Pullen neé Howard. Jason got engaged to Karen on 1st May 2004, moved to Margate in June 2004 (where he was born, and only round the corner from his Nan), and they married on 21st May 2005 at the Waltham Court Hotel. The funny thing was that Russell's friend Dragan (his real name!) was due to photograph Russ's wedding but forgot to get a visa in time - if he had got it in time, Jason would never have gone and may not have met Karen!
Jason enjoys spending time with his family, reading, photography (see his gallery), DIY, writing web pages (like this one), squash and watching movies and listening to music.
Jason is currently (2005) working for Chapman Bathurst in Caterbury as an electrical building servies consultant (IEE Chartered) and lives with Karen and her son Thomas.
On 18th August 2006, Karen and Jason became the parents of Molly Louise Pullen.
Jason is the Godson of Timothy Robin Pullen and the God-father of Gabrielle Elkes.
If you find the biography a little dull, you might like to read Jason's alternative biography:
"Following his enormous educational success both at KLB and Southampton University, Jason decided to expand his horizons.
Over the next two years he traveled the world offering my services to those in need. He has rebuilt economies devastated by war and strife, cured the fertility problems threatening a small tribe in the Borneo jungle and saved 17 endangered species to date.
Although he carried on with the good works, he decided that over the next year it was time for a bit of self improvement. As such, he learnt a great many things, most of which the constrictive structure of the British educational system could not cover. His Maharishi taught him to levitate and to fly like a bird (the secret is to become friends with nature - be 'of the air' not 'in the air'). Jason also learnt that family and friends are the most important thing in the world. He has now become more at peace with himself and, most importantly, has learnt that 'ME' is not a selfish word.
Having become a great painter, healer and lover, Jason has spent recent years using his scientific knowledge to help the world's industries further develop some of it's trickier technologies. Although he hasn't quite cracked it yet, he has helped to advance the development of cold fusion and clean burning cars. He also managed to convince the oil, electricity and car industries that we can't hide these technologies any longer and that earth, and our future generations, needs their help.
His aim over the next year or so is to use some of this new scientific knowledge to develop a clean and fast space engine that will propel us to the stars. NASA and the European Space Agency have asked that he be the first to travel as the World's good-will ambassador once he has fully developed the engine. Not being able to think of anyone else suitable, he has decided to accept.
Currently, while not working on the future of mankind, he enjoys taking it easy and watching TV.
If you have problem and no-one else can help...
