Roland David Pullen

Born: 9th May 1944

Roland (Ro) was born in Browning Hill Road, Catford, London and is the son of Samuel George Pullen and Winifred Hetty Pullen neé Brown.

Ro is also the brother of Diane Elizabeth Pullen, Ivanhoe Baden Pullen, Ralph Malcolm Pullen (his identical twin - read more), and Timothy Robin Pullen.

Ro went to Infant school in London and later went to Trinity Junior School in Margate. He followed this by attending; St. John’s Secondary Modern School for Boys, Margate, Dane Court Technical High School for Boys, Broadstairs, Brunell College of Advanced Technology, Uxbridge (later Brunell University) and finally completed his Masters in Mathematics (Operational Research).

Ro met his wife Dianne Louise Pullen neé Wray in London while she was working there during her travels. Ro is father to Samantha Lynn Pullen (born in London) and Jennifer Chantal Pullen (born in Canada).

Ro pursued careers in mathematical research, teaching, the computer industry and in software houses. He was drawn to be a Christian at the age of 44 (led by my daughters and wife) and now lives in a Christian Community in Scotland where he now works as a computer software/hardware engineer.
