Timothy (Tim) was born in Margate, Kent. He is the son of Samuel George Pullen and Winifred Hetty Pullen neé Wood.

Tim is the brother of Diane Elizabeth Pullen, Ivanhoe Baden Pullen, Ralph Malcolm Pullen and Roland David Pullen.

Tim married Noreen Denise Jarret (Mariage now disolved), and is father to Amanda Joann Pullen and Jack Antony Pullen.

Tim is married to Angela Coryn Pullen neé Midgely and step-father to Georgia Faye Pullen.
