William Brown

William was born in Seend, Wiltshire and was a platelayer, which is someone who repairs and maintains railway tracks, like his father.

The son of William James Brown and Leah Brown nee Rogers.

William was brother to Albert Brown, Alfred Brown, Arthur Brown, Edith Brown, Ernest Brown, Lucy Brown, Mary Brown, Oliver Brown and Walter Henry Brown.

He died on 14th January 1939, aged 66, and was buried at Camberwell New Cemetery.
