William was born in Wiltshire and was married to Leah Brown nee Rogers.

I (Amanda) hope to find out a little more when I get my hands on a copy of their marriage certificate, but they had at least 10 children including Albert Brown, Alfred Brown, Arthur Brown, Edith Brown, Ernest Brown, Lucy Brown, Mary Brown, Oliver Brown, William Brown II and Walter Henry Brown.
